Product Archive

Products land here only after Piqelo can no longer verify normal US availability across tracked retailers, or when a manufacturer explicitly marks a model as discontinued.

Temporary stock-outs stay in the active catalog. “No longer available” needs repeated evidence; “Discontinued” needs explicit manufacturer evidence plus zero live verified retailers.

How to use this archive

Unavailable is different from discontinued

A temporary stock shortage does not automatically move a product out of the active catalog. “No longer available” describes repeated loss of normal availability at tracked US stores. “Discontinued” additionally requires explicit manufacturer evidence. A listing on an unfamiliar marketplace does not, by itself, establish normal availability or reverse that status.

The cards show the recorded category, exact model and any available last verification date. That date describes a past observation, not a promise that the product can still be bought today. This archive covers TVs and laptops; it does not imply a complete historical record of every product or retailer.

Compare a replacement before buying

An archived model can still help you identify the generation or features you already own. For a new purchase, use the TV Finder or Laptop Finder to compare current products with your own budget and priorities. Check the exact screen size or laptop configuration rather than assuming a similarly named successor has the same hardware.

An old price or a manufacturer page is not a current offer. Confirm the model, new condition, seller, stock, delivery and returns at the store. If you find evidence that a recorded status is wrong, send a correction with the exact product and source link. The Piqelo methodology explains how research and buying decisions remain separate.
