LG C6 vs Samsung S90H: the exact 65-inch OLED decision
Choose between the US OLED65C6PUA and QN65S90HAEXZA by reflections, HDR formats and the games you play. Compare current offers alongside independent tests of the 65-inch models.
The buying answer
Samsung S90H or LG C6?
Choose the LG C6 for Dolby Vision films and a glossy screen that preserves deep blacks in mixed room light. Choose the Samsung S90H when direct reflections are the bigger distraction and HDR10+ fits your streaming library. Both offer 4K/120Hz console gaming and up to 4K/165Hz from a compatible PC. Their small measured latency difference is not a useful reason to pay more.

Which is the better buy at the listed price?
Compare the current exact-model offers below. At equal prices, Dolby Vision and room reflections decide this choice more usefully than the 0.2ms reported latency gap. A lower price matters only if the cheaper TV still fits your room and sources.

Samsung S90H OLED 65"
Choose it if a matte Glare Free screen is more useful than Dolby Vision in your room.
Keep in mind Dolby Vision is absent, and ambient light can lift QD-OLED blacks. Panel behavior from this 65-inch US model is not a promise for every screen size.

Choose it if you watch Dolby Vision films and can position the glossy screen away from direct lamps and windows.
Keep in mind The glossy surface retains clearer reflections; the C6 does not support HDR10+. The C6H name in the legacy URL is not an interchangeable US ordering code.

Matte Glare Free surface softens direct reflections.
Glossy surface reflects light sources more clearly.
Move or shade the strongest light source first. Samsung is the practical choice when that reflection cannot be avoided; neither OLED is a substitute for sunlight control.
Black depth with the room lights on?
The tested QD-OLED panel can show elevated blacks in ambient light.
WOLED better preserves its dark appearance in mixed light.
Direct reflection suppression and black depth are separate questions. Match the coating to the actual room.
Which HDR streaming format?
HDR10+; no Dolby Vision.
Dolby Vision; no HDR10+.
Check your favorite service and external player. Both still accept standard HDR10.
Bright highlights or everyday SDR?
Tom’s Guide reports 1,497-nit HDR and 226-nit SDR 10% windows.
Tom’s Guide reports 1,355-nit HDR and 355-nit SDR 10% windows.
These are Filmmaker Mode window measurements, not full-screen brightness or a forecast for every picture mode.
PS5, Xbox or a fast PC?
Four HDMI 2.1 inputs; up to 4K/165Hz PC and 4K/120Hz console.
Four HDMI 2.1 inputs; up to 4K/165Hz PC and 4K/120Hz console.
A 165Hz TV does not make a PS5 output 165fps. Check the GPU, cable and selected game mode.

Samsung S90H vs LG C6 buying questions
Does the LG C6 have meaningfully lower input lag?
Tom’s Guide reports 9.1ms for the C6 and 9.3ms for the S90H. The comparison does not state the signal resolution and refresh for those figures. Keep them in that test context: 0.2ms is not evidence of a meaningful competitive advantage, and these are not advertised here as 4K/120Hz measurements.
Which is better for a bright room?
Samsung’s matte coating is useful for a visible window or lamp reflection. LG’s WOLED panel keeps blacks darker in ambient light, while its glossy surface needs more careful positioning. The C6 also produced the higher SDR 10% window in the cited test. For direct sun, shade the room and compare suitable bright LCD alternatives.
Do these findings apply to every C6 or S90H size?
No. This page follows the US 65-inch OLED65C6PUA and QN65S90HAEXZA. RTINGS independently identifies its tested 65-inch units. Other sizes, regions and LG C6H variants require their own panel and model checks.
What if the current prices are equal?
Decide by room reflections and HDR format support. If one costs less, compare the live gap with the feature you would actually miss. The cards keep verified new US offers separate from unpriced store checks; no launch-price saving is assumed.

65-inch · 10% window; Filmmaker Mode
Small HDR highlight test, not full-screen brightness.
The HDR and SDR figures are 10% windows in Filmmaker Mode. Input-lag signal format is unreported in the comparison. Window brightness is not whole-screen brightness, and the small latency gap does not establish a purchase advantage.
