Editorial Policy

Piqelo’s editorial system is designed to make product decisions inspectable: what evidence was used, what remains uncertain and why the conclusion can change.

Editorial independence

The recommendation is protected from commercial pressure

Retailers, manufacturers, affiliate networks and advertisers may provide information, but they cannot purchase a score, ranking, verdict, Piqelo’s Choice award or favorable evidence treatment.

Evidence before certainty

Missing or conflicting evidence stays visible. Piqelo prefers “unknown” or lower confidence over an unsupported claim.

Exact product identity matters

Evidence should match the exact model, size or configuration when that can materially affect the decision.

Expert and owner evidence stay distinct

Lab measurements and professional testing answer different questions from long-term owner experience.

Sources remain attributable

Recognizable source names and exact evidence links are preserved wherever practical. Piqelo does not cite itself as independent product evidence.

AI-assisted work

AI can accelerate research, but it cannot invent evidence

Corrections & updates

A recommendation can change when reality changes

New measurements, firmware, larger owner samples, corrected specifications, changing prices or product availability may change a Piqelo conclusion. Manufacturers, retailers, sources and readers may flag a factual error through Contact Piqelo. Providing context does not grant editorial control.

Methodology is public.
